Over the last 20 years, our learning offer has steadily grown to become one of the most successful school’s education programmes for Roman heritage in the country. Thousands of children and adults from all walks of life join us every year to experience this award-winning service. As our new Head of Learning, you will have the unique and exciting opportunity to play a key role in continuing our drive for innovation and excellence.
You will be responsible for every aspect of the education programme as well as leading on the development and delivery of our special events. You will be part of a friendly and dynamic team dedicated to making our visitor services the best they can be.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who has excellent inter-personal and communication skills and a love for Roman heritage. Experience in teaching and managing staff, delivering public events and managing finances are essential characteristics of the successful candidate.
This is a full-time, permanent appointment. Deadline for applications is 12noon on Wednesday, 7th March. Candidates shortlisted for interview will be contacted during the week starting 12th March 2012. We are planning to hold interviews on 21st and 22nd March 2012.
