Annual conference

Each September, the Society holds a conference on a theme of local archaeological and/or historical interest.

This year's conference will commemorate the 1600th anniversary of the departure of the Romans from Britain, with an overview of Sussex in Roman Britain. It will take place at Sussex University on 11 September 2010, and the cost will be £30 (£20 for students, who must supply details of their college and course at the time of booking).  The programme for the day is shown below.  For more details and a booking form, please click on the brochure linked on the right.  You can complete and return the form as detailed, or book directly through our shopsite (you may need to scroll down the page).
